View this post on Instagram Hey all! Been a little quiet in here. Just wanted to give you an update ! First off we are rehearsing for the full band shows and progress is being made each time ! We cannot wait to get back out there and play plugged in!! Next we have an unplugged show @boilingovercoffeevault November 8th with a special guest yet to be named. 7-9, totally free. Always a good time !! Last, our album “Youth” is two months old and has been getting a fantastic reception. We have about 6-8 radio stations in Ontario playing “The Sound” and we’ve been on a number of playlists both local and international! Our next single will be “Get to Me” and we hope to have a video out in November. Thank you everyone who’s supported this band past and present. We are so excited for what’s to come the rest of this year and into 2020!! - 🤘JG A post shared by looking for heather (@lookingforheather) on Oct 6, 2019 at 6:58am PDT

View this post on Instagram Sooo here’s an oldie. This is from 1998. We were rehearsing for our album “Jangle & Roar” writing etc. In this picture is me (Jeff) singing , Jay on guitar , and Dave Lavallee on bass. Randy our current lead guitarist is on drums. This was a lineup we experimented with after my brother , our original and founding guitar player left the band that summer when Jay joined me at Fanshawe College in London. We used to rehearse in our classroom at the college as it was a huge music school. In fact that’s what I was there studying along with Dave and Randy. Dave would leave the band in early 1999 and we carried on as a three piece with me taking up the guitar duties and jay going back to bass. By 2003 Randy would come out to play lead guitar and Ric “Uncle Dik” Wilson took over on drums until 2008. The lineup of myself , jay , randy and Dik would be our most successful. Love these old archival shots. A post shared by looking for heather (@lookingforheather) on Sep 23, 2019 at 7:16pm PDT

View this post on Instagram There are still those of us who like a tactile music experience. And for those people we have physical CDs of our new album “Youth” available now. $10 at shows. For the locals drop us a line and I’ll send you one or meet you and hand deliver. - Jeff A post shared by looking for heather (@lookingforheather) on Aug 29, 2019 at 9:06am PDT

View this post on Instagram After nearly 3 years , we are finally proud to announce our 6th studio album “Youth” is available on all platforms as well as CD. We are not the fastest working band , but we feel that when we do release something , it is something worth listening to. This has been a journey. These songs were written during some crazy times in my life personally. Good and bad. Dark and light. I hope that when you listen you get a sense of optimism in it. The opening track “in your wake” starts at a funeral but launches into something very energetic , cathartic before we take you on a journey celebrating love , life , relationships , our home town and much more. The closing track “Chasing Light” is maybe the most personal song I’ve written. I also think it may be the best song I’ve ever written. But that’s like your mom telling you how cool you are. It doesn’t mean much from someone so close to the art. In between we have a lot of interesting songs, we tried a lot of new things including a duet on the track “Barricade”. We reached out to local singer Cassie Noble @cassienoblemusic and we were thrilled she agreed to do it and we love how it turned out. We would be honoured to have your ear for 35 minutes. I don’t think we will waste your time. Enjoy ! And see you on the road with our newest member Jody Anderson ! One Love. Jeff on behalf of Jay and Randy 🤘 A post shared by looking for heather (@lookingforheather) on Aug 1, 2019 at 9:00pm PDT
