So, we’ve mentioned this a few times recently but not sure if anything official has been said. We will be performing much of this year as a Duo. All last year we played acoustic shows and really liked it. The feedback has been fantastic so this year that’s what we intend to do! BUT this isn’t going to be your standard “coffee house” type acoustic show. Sure there will be a focus on acoustic music but we have some big plans to augment that show with lots of other fun elements and make it more of a “show” vs background music at a patio or coffee shop. Stay tuned for some show announcements for March and some new music coming soon ! PS: we will still play as a full rock band again. That’s not over , just trying something a little different. - JG

Late night studio vibes. Feeling inspired tonight. And since I can barely sleep most nights I figured why not be productive. Did an acoustic guitar take , didn’t use a pick. Really wanted a Softer sound for this track. Really loving the @warmaudio WA-14 on my @takamineguitars acoustic. Got the vibe I’m looking for. Went through a UAD 610 preamp and to GP9 tape at 15ips. Then into the DAW with a little EQ for some squeak removal and one of my faves the @wavesaudio CLA unplugged on the default setting. Tweaked the rev a bit and backed off the slap delay. Then kissed it with my favourite compressor the LA-3A. I find I can get that thing to make anything sound great. Really love how this turned out. Not sure if this song will make the next project or not but it’s a very personal song and I just felt like tonight was the night to “pull it out of the air”. Goodnight everyone ✌️(we need it) -JG

Well, that’s just about wraps up 2010-2019. While most people and bands etc are looking back on their last 10 years , we would rather look forward. See this last 10 years we didn’t really do much. We didn’t release any music until 2014, and then only 4 singles until the next album in 2019 so it was a pretty unproductive 10 years compared to the prior 10. We did however get back to playing live again in 2018!! So while this unproductive decade is over , a new one begins really soon ! And we are looking forward to it !! We have a new lyric video coming out any day now for “get to me”, we already have two shows booked for 2020... with about a dozen more to come !! and we’re in the studio working on a new EP!! So 2020 is gonna be a busy year. Not only promoting the EP but Last years “youth” album too !!! Jay and I will be playing as a duo this year Much like last year, but we are gonna change it up a bit ! You’ll have to wait and see what we do March 13th! That’s our first one of the year. The Ep will be out in the spring and it will feature 5 all new songs , but something a little different. 2020 is also our 25th year of existence so as you can see , sooo much to look forward to !!! Thank you all for the last 10 , and here’s to the next 10! We appreciate your support so much ! Have a happy and safe New Year’s Eve we look forward to rocking with you soon ! Hey all! Been a little quiet in here. Just wanted to give you an update ! First off we are rehearsing for the full band shows and progress is being made each time ! We cannot wait to get back out there and play plugged in!! Next we have an unplugged show @boilingovercoffeevault November 8th with a special guest yet to be named. 7-9, totally free. Always a good time !! Last, our album “Youth” is two months old and has been getting a fantastic reception. We have about 6-8 radio stations in Ontario playing “The Sound” and we’ve been on a number of playlists both local and international! Our next single will be “Get to Me” and we hope to have a video out in November. Thank you everyone who’s supported this band past and present. We are so excited for what’s to come the rest of this year and into 2020!! - 🤘JG
